The 6th annual Ivy Cup Charity Polo Match will be held Sunday May 31st at Greenwich Polo Club amidst the splendor of some of the most beautiful scenery on the East Coast.

Alumni from Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell and Penn will play for the Ivy Cup. This match will be followed by the opening match of the 2009 High Goal Polo season.

The Ivy Cup weekend will begin with the Ivy Cup Party, which will include a live auction and dance held Saturday evening May 30th at one of the most beautiful private residences in Greenwich.

Though its format is different than past years, the event which was founded by the Charity Network of NYC in 2002 promises to build on its history and reputation as one of the most unique and enjoyable social events of the year that raises both awareness and funding for worthy charities.

Saturday May 30th

8:00pm The Ivy Cup Welcome Party

The Ivy Cup Polo Match and Charity Network of NYC welcome the organizers, co-hosts, players, and VIP guests for a luxurious evening of celebration, which will include a Live Auction, Hors d'Oeuvres, Cocktails and Dancing.

A $100 donation is requested and please note that $50 is deductible.

Sunday May 31st

1:45 pm Ivy Cup Polo Match.

The Ivy Cup Polo players are representatives of the Princeton, Cornell, Harvard, Yale and the Penn Alumni.

2:30 pm Buffet Luncheon and Open Bar.

Enjoy an elegant buffet luncheon and open bar provided by the Ivy Cupís premier caterer, Best In Gourmet. The buffet will be open throughout all polo matches.

3:00 pm High Goal Polo Matches.

The opening match of the Greenwich Polo season will commence immediately after the Ivy Cup Match.

5:00 pm Ivy Cup Awards Ceremony.

Greenwich Polo Club amidst the splendor of some of the most beautiful scenery on the East Coast.
The event is organized by Charity Network of New York City,
a 501 c 3 non profit organization that assists small charities serving children's needs.
